LifeWorks Community Services mission is to provide opportunities for growth and achievement for persons with disabilities who face barriers to independence and integration in employment and daily living. Established in 1965 and headquartered in Fort Dodge, Iowa, LifeWorks Community Services offers vocational, residential and community support services to individuals with mental, physical or developmental disabilities.
LifeWorks Community Services offer a variety of residential services in the Fort Dodge and Humboldt areas. These services include nine community-based waiver homes with 24 hour support, Supported Community Living services for individuals living in their own homes, and Respite.
Employment/Day Services in Webster and Humboldt counties include Day Habilitation, Community-Based work crews, Supported Employment, and Career Exploration. Faculity-based employment services are available in Fort Dodge only.
A volunteer Board of Directors governs LifeWorks Community Services with the day to day operations overseen by an Administrative Team. The staff at LifeWorks Community Services are committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
